Janet Ton, Associate
Janet originally was inspired to work as a Civil Rights attorney. She believes that it is important to communicate with clients quickly and will make every effort to settle cases as early as possible. After interning for employment attorneys in law school and representing appellants during unemployment appeal hearings, Janet made the transition to Workers’ Compensation. She believes that you have to work harder than the opposing attorney in order to be successful and she enjoys negotiating settlements to get the best results for clients. To determine how the facts can support a specific defense, evaluating how each individual case will determine the best course of action for the client.
Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Janet and her family escaped when she was just 3 years old, living in a refugee camp in Thailand for 2 years before coming to Southern California. Having grown up in Long Beach, she loves the California weather, people, diversity, food and just the sheer number of things there are to do in Southern California. With wine tasting, the beach and incredible food, the vibe and offerings of southern California speak well to her active lifestyle and interest in travel. Outside of work, Janet is passionate about dance, photography and travel, pursing all three in her spare time, with the goal of visiting as many places as possible.
